On July 11, Consul-General Li Xuhang met with Prince Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, a member of the Dubai royal family.

Li Xuhang highlighted that as ancient nations, the Chinese and UAE peoples have nurtured the traditional virtues of industriousness, wisdom and emphasis on etiquette. Last year, President Xi Jinping attended the “Three-Ring Summit” between the leaders of China, GCC and Saudi Arabia. The China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership has entered the best period in history, navigating the cooperation between us in various fields. With opportunities provided by the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, he hoped that the two sides to engage in closer pragmatic collaboration, promote heart-to-heart connection, leverage the role of Dubai as a key strategic pivot and make greater contributions to building a community of a shared future for mankind.

Prince Sheikh Juma highly appreciated China’s achievements in recent years and looked forward to practical cooperation with China in investment, trade and education.
