On May 4, 2023, Consul-General Li Xuhang met with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE.

Li Xuhang highlighted the rich natural and historical cultural heritages in the Emirate of Fujairah and remarkable achievements in economy, tourism and culture, among other fields. In recent years, China-UAE relations have entered the best period in history. Leveraging the 10th anniversary of President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative this year, the Consulate-General is willing to work as a bridge to promote practical cooperation and realize the common development goals of the two sides to benefit the people of both countries.

According to Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed, the Emirate of Fujairah is committed to developing relations with China. The Emirate is willing to jointly promote people-to-people exchanges between the two sides and strengthen practical cooperation in culture, trade and tourism for win-win benefits.
