On May 5, 2023, Consul-General Li Xuhang met with Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President & CEO of Dubai Chambers.

Li Xuhang highlighted Dubai’s prominent strategic location, first-class infrastructure and favorable business environment, making it a key gateway for the Belt and Road projects and Chinese enterprises and products to enter the African and the Middle East markets. In recent years, China and Dubai have witnessed fruitful economic and trade cooperation with record trade volume and expanding two-way investment. As a bridge, the Consulate-General is willing to encourage economic and trade cooperation between the two sides to benefit the people of the two countries.

According to Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, China is Dubai’s largest trading partner and a key source of investment. Dubai Chambers is committed to developing economic and trade relations with China and is willing to strengthen practical cooperation in trade, investment and other areas for win-win benefits.
