On July 11, Consul-General Li Xuhang met with Riyadh Miqdadi, Executive Editor of Al banyan[同上], and exchanged views on strengthening media cooperation.

Li Xuhang praised Al banyan's essential role as the widest circulated Arabic newspaper in UAE and an official Dubai media in spreading China-UAE friendship. He expected more dialogues and partnerships for greater contributions in encouraging cultural exchanges and presenting the China-UAE friendship stories together.

Riyadh Miqdadi expressed his willingness to maintain close communication with the Chinese side, cover China's socioeconomic development achievements and further publicize the contribution of Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese in Dubai in economic development to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
