Prince Maktoum, Director of Dubai Office of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Visited the Consulate General to Pay Condolences to Comrade Jiang Zemin

On December 5, Prince Maktoum, Director of Dubai Office of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and a member of the Royal Family of Dubai, visited the Consulate General to pay his condolences to Comrade Jiang Zemin.

Prince Maktoum stood in silence in front of the portrait of Comrade Jiang Zemin and left a message in the condolence book. He expressed his deep sorrow at the news of the demise of Comrade Jiang Zemin. On behalf of the government and the people of the Emirate of Dubai, he expressed his deep condolences to the Chinese government and the people and extended his sincere sympathy to the family.

Consul General Li Xuhang thanked Prince Maktoum for his visit and said that Comrade Jiang Zemin was an outstanding leader enjoying high prestige acknowledged by the whole Party, the entire military and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups. We will inherit the legacy of Comrade Jiang Zemin to continue our collaboration with the UAE to promote friendly exchanges and practical cooperation and ensure continuous deliverables in developing a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the UAE.

More than 100 people came to pay their condolences, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hala China, Consuls General of different countries, heads of Chinese institutions and representatives of overseas Chinese in Dubai.
