On November 9, 2022, Consul-General Li Xuhang met with Mohammed lbrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of HH the Ruler’s Court.

Li Xuhang thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and the UAE for the continuous contribution to friendly exchanges and practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries. The UAE government has taken a proactive approach to governance, balancing the tasks of epidemic control and socioeconomic development. At present, social life has preliminarily returned to normal, the economy is booming, cultural exchanges are thriving, and the results achieved are admirable. The door of China’s opening up will be wider. The Consulate-General is willing to play an active role in continuing to strengthen the partnership between the two countries in space science and technology, medicine and health, and people-to-people exchanges, further deepening China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership.   

Shaibani said that China’s economic and social development has achieved world-renowned outcomes, with significantly increased international influence and a greater role in regional and global affairs. The UAE is willing to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.   

The two sides also had a friendly and frank exchange on other issues of common concern.
