On the occasion of the 20th CPC National Congress, the overseas Chinese community in Dubai and the northern emirates of the UAE celebrated the event by sending congratulatory letters, watching live broadcasts and holding seminars. They listened to and studied the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, setting off a wave of learning and understanding the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress.

Overseas Chinese groups such as the UAE China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification, Shanghai Chamber of Commerce and Hometown Association and Hunan Chamber of Commerce and Hometown Association watched the live broadcast of the congress, held seminars, conducted self-study and discussion on the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, and shared their preliminary understanding of the report. The overseas Chinese groups noted that since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core has united and led the whole Party and the whole nation to accomplish a series of major undertakings, overcome a series of risks and challenges, and promote the Party and the national cause to make new historic achievements. They shared the original text of the report, insightful statements and interpretations on social media platforms and enthusiastically exchanged their feelings and experiences, pushing the learning atmosphere to a new climax. They said that they would study and grasp the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, follow the Party and contribute to the development of the motherland and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Before the 20th CPC National Congress, more than 30 overseas Chinese groups in the consular district, including the UAE Overseas Chinese Association, UAE Overseas Chinese Women’s Association, UAE Overseas Chinese Cultural and Education Association and UAE Beijing Association, sent congratulatory letters and held a series of seminars on “Welcoming the 20th CPC National Congress and Moving Forward on the New Journey”. Such activities are warm-ups for the in-depth study and understanding of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and for the celebration of its convening.
